Below we have tried to anticipate some questions that will inevitably come up. However, please do not hesitate to submit any other questions you might have via the CONTACT page. We will do our best to answer them… and they may help streamline the whole process.
Are there any monetary dues to join or be a member of House Konatus?
From time to time there may be general expenses accrued from items we use in ritual and I expect the whole of the membership to absorb the costs as is fair. However, I do not believe in “purchasing” one’s place in such a group and there will be no dues.
How much ritual / occult / magickal / energetic training or experience do I need prior to
becoming a member?
None. I value attitude far above knowledge. Seekers and long time practitioners alike
are welcome.
What will be expected of me as a member of House Konatus?
Dedication to the House maxim, “Nature Strives Toward Perfection”…
Commitment to attending and participating (within reason) in House meetings and
gathers…
An open mind in remembering that we all are different and our truths are important…
and acceptance of one another as brothers and sisters in spirit.
Are there any prohibitions?
Prejudice, save for that against ignorance, is not welcome in House Konatus.
Harassment of any nature (physical, sexual, emotional, etc.) will be dealt with by reporting such behavior to the proper local authorities and subsequent prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.
Power Trips are not only disruptive, but they are counterproductive in the most juvenile
way possible. The strength of House Konatus resides in “power with” not “power over”.
Drugs degrade the body, dull the mind, and alter one's energy and are therefore contrary to the endeavors of House Konatus.
